A Marketplace Development for a leading IT Security Company based out of India.

The Business Need

Creating an e-commerce marketplace requires the use of appropriate technologies and tools, and it can be challenging to maintain. The marketplace should have two distinct interfaces for buyers and sellers and utilize CS-Cart. Sellers should be able to upload product information, categorize items, manage all orders, and view payments.

Challenges

Sellers could download the datasets for the products and categories relevant to them. Managed Services by Mobius further enriched the product content and value-added service and provided a better customer experience.

Our Solution

Mobius onboarded the vendors from the Client’s Salesforce data into the system for the seller interface.
Mobius developed vendor modules as a priority and made it accessible to sellers to submit their details for the Client admin team to review and approve the seller accounts.
User credentials were provided to sellers for the portal to manage their product listings, orders, payments, etc.
Any contracts to be signed between sellers & and the client were enabled to be handled by the client’s team directly using the marketplace.
The various attributes of different brands were mapped to each other and the apt ones were added to the database (product template). This was done after thorough research by the ecommerce team resources at Mobius.
