The Business Need

The client was seeking a solution to fine-tune their applications and improve the performance of their existing IT infrastructure on AWS. They wanted to explore and address the requirements for seamless optimization, which included the deployment of servers, their configuration, and services optimized for mobile apps.

Challenges

The deployed application and database had multiple vulnerabilities and were unable to handle the load. To ensure high availability at minimal cost, they needed to make necessary improvements.

Our Solution

Unwanted security groups removed. In RDS, the Snapshots retention period changed to 15 days and auto upgrade was disabled. Auto scale policy enabled for the application server. SSL implemented for mobile apps and websites. Both servers in AWS LB need to be in a similar configuration.

Dynamic IP Restricted. Development and testing applications were in a separate environment. Complete VAPT assessment done. Backup scheduled as appropriate.
